Gaumukh temple is dedicated to the sage Vashishta from Hindu mythology and today we are publishing some historical images of Gaumukh temple before the Earthquake in 1975 (approx). Because of the earthquake some big stone pillars were fallen around the temple but it is believed that none of the pillar even touched the main temple.

Today Gaumukh is in not the same as it use to be before 1975, but still the innumerable temples spread over this relatively small town one such temple is the Gaumukh temple.
