ABUTIMES | The show’s topper for today’s article is abutimes itself after all today is it’s b’day before I type down the journey of abutimes so far and how it came into existence I want you to once cheer for abutimes if you have been following it.

During the monsoon in 2014 when it was almost a year for my first self made website BloodDonator.com i.e. an international website for voluntary blood donation the ideas to promote it were continuously storming in ma mind, blooddonator gave me name, reorganization, blessings, press coverage and bag full of happiness but still there was a tease in mind to make this initiative internationally recognized or help people in mass, and somewhere existence of abutimes.com and udaipurinsights.com revolve around BloodDonator.com.

Heart of an every abu-ite is blend with the love for this hill station so is mine and the zeal to repay this hill station for giving me the designation of an abu-ite and while admiring other cities through their online portals I came up with an idea of making a very active tourism and media portal of mount abu, sirohi that can broadcast its glory and presence, to make people fall in love with this hill station and arrive again and again.

One day in eve around 5:00 pm I called up one of ma School (KVS, Mt. Abu) friend telling him that I have an idea but it needs your support, I can’t reveal what its all about but your role will be sharing latest updates of abu and few pictures everyday anyhow this is other thing that from that day to today he haven’t shared with me anything and it doesn’t take away our friendship.

With the believe on my friend I started designing the website and within few days website was ready to be hosted but with no content, called up the friend asking to share photos and articles of mount abu, he said will do in eve but that eve never came, then me only gathered information through different sources and started visiting abu to take pictures on often days as I had a job in udaipur.

With few articles on tourists spots in mount abu and brief details of mount abu insights the website was made live on the Independence day of our nation in 2014.

The first blog was on Ganesh Point and first news was on Bethlehem Lily narrated by principal of my first school St. Anslem’s Abu Road.

With days things started getting in favor, events like election, Indian festival, started taking place and our idea to put every single news on abutimes.com and then broadcasting it to max no. people started making sense, abutimes was now not an unknown name among many of the abu-ites n later among the people away from mount abu too, with time abutimes grown up as a complete portal for things related to mount abu, aburoad, sirohi, swaroopganj and etc.

DSLR a professional camera is generally the first identification of every media person but that was missing on my side. I was not ready to sit back just because of unavailability of a DSLR and every night I used to click a photograph with a DSLR in the mid night anyhow it was an other thing that ma eyes I used to be closed while taking that picture, and today having a DSLR still makes me to take at least one picha with a mobile cam, it keeps me connected with the 15th August 2014.

First advertisement, initially there were no specific plan in which direction will this website lead, basic motto was to just keep doing things what nature makes us do and one day when I just posted an article about the business of ma friend without letting him know made me to have my first advertisement, when a third person visited his shop and said ‘I show your article on abutimes, how much did they charged to you’ and he was m not aware about it, when that person added few more words appreciating the article he decided to meet me and asked how much he have to pay and I was like R u serious ?. In business money is not just complete desire rather its a identification of success and happiness.

New website design, with increasing clients and viewers we started getting demands for new design of the website, and for us our viewers demand has been always or first priority, I started developing the new interface of abutimes and on the 1st anniversary of the website 15th Aug 2015 it was made live for our viewers anyhow its the other thing that m again planning for new interface and also a mobile app for abutimes in upcoming months.

Reveling me as admin of abutimes, to create a mystery about the owner of abutimes I kept my name hidden, and when people were receiving quick updates of mount abu their curiosity towards knowing the admin of abutimes started getting higher and in between this many people started announcing that they are admin of abutimes and once at nakki lake I got to hear on my face my friend telling ‘I’ll get this news published on abutimes it is of ma friend only’ and I was like come again. And later such incidents made me to reveal my name behind it.

Making advertisement on activa while going to abu road me along with a friend cum team member was riding to abu road and in between I got a client call saying they have already deposited the advertisement amount and their boss has asked for preview in 20 next mins. While working in Bangalore I got to learn one thing from the company is ‘Client is everything in business’ and following that I asked ma friend to ride the activa and me moved on back seat developing ad on laptop and mailed it to client as we reached talheti.

The first public event of abutimes, With a team of few members we organized a historical Christmas day celebration at Nakki lake, mount abu gathering thousands of people around us making them dance, take photography enjoy music and at last Santa with bag full of toffees.

There are many other incidents that makes us feel happy that we are the part of the most popular tourism and media of mount abu and entire sirohi district with 10,00,000 lakh website hits measured for previous month but for now need to sleep its 3:00 am in the clock and need to wake up early for a freedom ride of unity, planned in udaipur.
