World Photography Day is photographer’s day celebrating photography, everyone should know the origin and the significance of this day. It originated after the invention of the Daguerreotype photographic processes, developed by Joseph Nicephore Niepce and Louis Daguerre in 1837. But on August 19, 1839, the French government announced the invention as the first practical gift to the world. In a way this was the true beginning of the World Photography Day.
