Mount Abu | The only hill station of Rajasthan is so beautiful and blessed with infinite flora and fauna is drastically compromised every single day with the spread of garbage, liquor bottles and every other garbage you can think of. Irony about this is their are no sustainable plans by administration or forest dept. to counter this challenge, and if the situation remains the same it will soon wipe out green from Aravallis and will leave behind the barren lands like in deserts; THE OASIS IN DESERT IS ON DANGER.
The famous food bloggers Rocky and Mayur recently visited Mount Abu and raised some alarming issues of Mount Abu in between of their food vlogs, its quite painful to watch our tourists specially such celebrities who visit mount abu with a thought that its among the most beautiful hill station in rajasthan but what they found here when they actually arrive is, stacks of garbage, damage roads and plenty of nature compromising activities. When Rocky and Mayur on the way to Gurushikar spot a place which was filth with all kind of thrash hard enough to murder plants, animals, specially reptiles and micro habitats they couldn’t avoid to add this issue in their vlog which is generally not part of their content.
Although this issue should have been resolve by administration, nagar palika, panchayat or forest dept. but their was no single action taken by any of them; The nature lovers or nature guides of mount abu who are always dedicated to make this hill station breathe its true essence couldn’t stop themselves to clean the spot highlighted by RnM.
Around 10 environmentalists and other village residents together went down in the valley and return with around 1 trolley of all elements that are worst enough to murder the nature like a slow poison, Mr. Charlie said while cleaning they spot many micro habitats and Russel Viper snake in the drive and he was speechless to answer the new group members when they asked Charlie ‘Where will the snake go if it got hurt by the shards out there’.
