Mount Abu | The only tourist spot of Rajasthan that has never been barren of tourists, has witnessed to tourists from last 3 months because of lockdown due to Corona Virus Pandemic.
After unlock 1.0 Govt. released restrictions from inter state travelling and hotel/ restaurants operations but people of mount abu decided to voluntary keep abu locked-down till 21st of June and after 3 months it is the first weekend of the hill station where tourists we seen arriving to mount abu.
Compared to regular weekends when all hotels in mount abu goes sold out and restaurants have a long waiting this weekend arrival of tourists is like as of weekday.
On 26th and 27th June Saturday around 1000 more people reached mount abu in around 250 to 300 cars. Although tourists are not restricted to enter mount abu still people are not feeling it safe to take any kind of risk and are not coming our of their homes. Only few hotels in Mount Abu like ChaCha Inn, Toppers Corner are in operation currently and most of hotels have decided to keep the hotels lock for few more days of this month.
As govt. of rajasthan and local administration are very particular regarding safety of people and the hill station, they have provided guidelines to all the hotels and restaurants which they will have to strictly follow to resume their business.
