Effects of forest fires
As we all know from 3 days enormous forest fires have been destructing the forests of Mount Abu. Not only destroying the flora and disturbing the fauna it has also created a terror in people’s mind. And temporarily traffic is being blocked as fire ignites close to the main road.

Fearless Gorkhas displaying the same character from last 4 days fighting against the continuously igniting fire at different places in the forests in the either sides of road to mount abu.
Army is playing the most important role in fighting the stubborn flames, soldier bravely get close to fire and using the fire line technique and fire brigade etc. they have undertaken many successful operations. Fearless soldiers under the command of Col. Pramod Gahlot and Second in command Lt. Col Nisheet Thapliyal with Company Commander Major Peeyush Nath get into get the best deals for ativan fire affected area with a planned strategy, fighting with flames by their way more ‘gigantic will and determination’ and return only after extinguishing/ rescuing the affected area.
Fearless ARMY soldiers along with CRPF and Forest Jawans rescued a camp site in Arna Village
It was 18:30 in the clock when ARMY got the information that their is a heavy fire bursting out near to a campsite in Arna Village, because of the gigantic flames eucalyptus trees in that area also started burning and a big disaster was challenging everybody out there. Fearless Gurkhas went very close the emerging fire, with the help of fire brigade, and rapid action of Forest Dept. Trainees in making the fire lines the area was completely rescued.
And along with Indian ARMY Jawans of CRPF, Forest Dept. Trainees and Air Force from sky is working hard in controlling the outrage of the flames.
After a lot of efforts put, the fire is controlled at many places but it again ignites at new places. But we should thank to the efforts of the Army , CRPF, Air force, forest trainees and everybody who has put in their selfless efforts to control the threatening circumstances. As a prevention for any unfortunate accidents the main road will be blocked temporarily for small intervals.
