St. John’s School, Abu Road held their 18th Investiture Ceremony on 9th July 2016 with great enthusiasm.
The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic session. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.
The Principal of the school Mrs. Uma Shyam inducted the newly elected members of the school with flag, sash and badges.
Master Vivek Gorania of Class XII Science was appointed as the School Head Boy and Miss Yashvi Sajnani of Class XII Science as the school Head Girl. They were followed by the School Cultural Captain Master Raghavendra Gurjar of Class XII Science, School Discipline Captain Master Rahil Gogda of Class XII Com., School Literary Captain Master Prince Agarwal of Class XII Science and School Sports Captain Master Chirag Mali of Class XII Com.
The Principal of the School Mrs. Uma Shyam addressed the assembly and narrated an inspiring and motivational story. She spoke about leadership and said “Only you can make a difference to your own world through you actions”.
Director of the school Shri K. A. Shyam Kumar congratulated the newly elected council members and stressed on the significance of setting priorities and the need to be great communicators. He reminded that they are the torch bearers of the values that the school stands for and urged them to take up their responsibility with commitment and integrity.
