Very similar to Ganpatti Isthapna, Maa Durga Isthapna is also very popular in some states of India specially in Kolkatta. Even in Mount Abu officers and other members of Air Force Station celebrate this function and on the last day of Navaratri they all went to Nakki Lake for the visarjan of Maa Durga statue, all the way people were dancing on the loud DJ and putting gulal on each other faces.
