The 10th Sports Meet began in St. John’s School, Abu Road on 17th October 2016. The grand opening ceremony highlighted official introduction and assembly of each participating house. A magnificent performance was put forth by School Band. The dance troupe charged the spectators by their energetic dance performance.
The Best Athelete of the school year Master Chirag Mali of Class XII Commerce carried the torch around the school play ground and the sports flame was ignited by the Chief Guest of the day Shri K. A. Shyam Kumar who officially declared the 10th Sports Meet OPEN. The enthusiasm and energy was to behold when the school flag went up and the sporting events began. The principal of the school Mrs. Uma Shyam inspired the students by her motivational words. The students showed great enthusiasm and zeal for healthy competition.
